“Driving a Wishing Well”

Updated: Mar 16

For the divine children...

“Guidance must be sought after but once you seek it-it becomes a birthright!"--Eric James

Eric James, December 2021, @DistilleXinc2021

Fruits of my labor please bear my fruit,

I can do all things through him who strengthens me

I’ve sought so much to bear my truth,

That their rejection has disheartened me

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

For a dream comes with much business,

and a fool's voice with many words

The brash silence of the puddle’s wings,

Gives the unspoken words a voice

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright,

he is a shield to those who walk in integrity

His pebbles skip across the water creating a wish,

For he goes by father and not your majesty

Let no one despise you for your youth,

but set the believers an example in speech

For those who guide the righteous,

Have been given the right to teach

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

In all your ways acknowledge him,

and he will make straight your paths

Don’t let that rushing water hold you back,

For it is his love and not his wrath

For at one time you were darkness,

but now you walk as a child of light

Let the water breathe around you,

As he has already won your fight

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream

Swoosh, swoosh, toss the pebble in the water,

Every puddle that splashes is a dream
